Give the Gift of Warmth
Currently working towards...
Winters in Kurdistan are unbearable but especially if you are a vulnerable child in a low socioeconomic community or a refugee camp in Kurdistan. This year for the holly season we want to provide children and vulnerable families with warm clothing to get them through the harsh winter. We want your unused jackets and winter wardrobes, email us to know more about the winter wardrobe drive. All donations below will directly fund food rations for the winter for families and refugee camps.

Sustainable approach
Why are we not collecting clothes to send to the refugee camps?
It is really hard to filter through clothing and make sure they are exactly what the camps need. Clothes drives have been known to end up in landfill and NAZA is committed to sustainability. By not collecting clothes and providing locally sourced clothing we eradicate the possibility of adding to the already prevalent waste piles in Kurdistan.

Why clothes?
The region of Kurdistan is Mountainous and filled with beautiful landscapes. This does mean that during winters, the conditions of these open refugee camps is unbearable. Most of these children have lost their parents and are relying on donations from external organisations to be able to have basic necessities.

NAZA Zhyan Project
NAZA is passionate about all things justice. That's why we are launching a service for women who are victims of domestic violence by connecting them to services that they would not otherwise have access to. This is a community driven project which means all those who are lending a helping hand are volunteers. These services will include; food services, shelter services, pro-bono lawyering services, schooling support, employment services, safe-haven's to gain meaningful friendships and much more. This project is the NAZA Zhyan project, an homage to all those women who have suffered injustices in the Kurdistan Region.
